The U18 Darien Stars traveled to Evansville, IN for the Veterans Invitational Tournament - 2009 and went undefeated taking home 1st place trophies. They met Javanon, a team from Louisville, KY (2nd in State - 2009 and previous Kentucky State Champs) in the finals where the Stars were the first to score on this team at the tournament and won the championship game by a score of 2 - 0.

Spring of 09
Girls U 12 Go Undefeated 8-0-0 With 37 goals vs 6 Against
Boys U 15 White undefeated in Platinum 7-0-1 Goals for 34 vs 9 Against.
5 Dynamo Teams Participated in the Jr. Irish Tournament in South Bend Indiana over Memorial day weekend. Our Club made a strong showing with other team from around the Midwest and Canada.
U 10 Girls Dashers went undefeated 3-0-1 Click here
U 14 Girls Dynamites Won their bracket and were Runners up in Division 1 Click here
U 15 Boys were 1-2-1 in a strong division with 2 very close games
U 16 Boys won there Division and were Runners up in their Divison Click here
U 18 Boys went undefeated for the week end Scoring 6 goals and giving up 5 finishing Second in their bracket. This was some of the most competitive soccer I have seen at the Youth (young men) level/!

IWSL has posted their
Good Sportsmanship Award Rankings for the Spring 2008 season.
The purpose of this award is to promote, recognize and reward good sportsmanship in the IWSL league games. Score is based on behavior of players, coaches, and spectators. Score is decreased if team exhibits any of the following: violent physical fouls, yellow or red cards given to players of coach, excesssive number of fouls, verbal heckling, dissent, abuse, from playeers, coaches, or spectators, any foul language, spitting etc. Good conduct and fair play equals a higher score. Ranking is done by the center referee at the end of each game. Congratulations to the following Darien Dynamo girls teams who have ranked FIRST in total points for this award in their division.
These Dynamo teams/coaches/players have received the "Good Sportsmanship Award" patch from the IWSL for this achievement:
